Traditionally, waist beads worn across the African continent are crafted as permanent, tie-on sets designed to be worn continuously and eventually cut off when the wearer has outgrown them or wishes to release them.

To honor this tradition while prioritizing modern comfort and longevity, I craft all of my custom waist beads exclusively on high-quality elastic string. This allows your adornments to be flexible, comfortable for everyday wear, and easy to slip on or off.

You can sleep, shower, and live fully in your strands. If your custom piece features delicate crystals or multiple intricate charms, however, I recommend treating it with a little extra gentleness during your daily rituals to keep the magic wholly intact.✨

POSITION: Wrap a flexible tape measure around your midsection exactly where you want your beads to comfortably rest (at your navel, or low on your hips for example)

ADJUST: Relax your stomach, take a deep breath, and smile.😊 Do not suck in your belly. Simply allow your body to occupy its natural space beautifully and comfortably.
