Hi, I'm Jasmin Ariel.

Public Speaking/Performance Engagements

  • I am a poet/spoken word artist. 

  • I've been performing publicly since 2012, appearing on a variety of stages ranging from:

    • open mic events

    • college symposiums 

    • commencement ceremonies

    • galas

    • assemblies

    • festivals and

    • cultural celebrations 

  • I have had the luxury of being a featured performer in three states (Louisiana, Florida and Kansas) and one country (Mexico) thus far.

  • I've also operated as a hostess/mistress of ceremonies for a few community events.

  • I am available for entertainment and/or educational purposes. 

  • I can speak about a vast array of topics, including:

    • art

    • erotica

    • culture (specifically the Black/African diaspora)

    • queerness

    • spirituality

    • self-love/self-care/healing

    • and/or any intersections of the above

ESL Tutoring (Virtual)

  • I am TESOL certified (120 hours). 

  • I first began teaching English as a Second Language in 2007.

  • Since August 2022, I've tutored online using the Cambly and Preply platforms.

  • I also have non-ESL teaching, tutoring and mentoring experience in traditional and virtual classroom settings for youth (8-21) and adults dating back to 2010.

  • I'm available for private virtual tutoring on Preply and/or directly.
