2022 - Present

PERSONAL ASSISTANT

FREELANCE

  • Offer virtual and in-person administrative, organizational and personal life support for clients operating as small
    business owners.

  • Address clients’ needs, from research, managing daily living activities, material creation, travel planning, communication facilitation and more.

  • Key projects include:

    • ​Audio processed, transcribed, proofread and edited interview files as a contributing ghostwriter

    • Supervised entertainment talent management (including but not limited to: lodging, accommodation and logistics)

    • Facilitated the development of an online coaching program

    • Created "Community Care Agreements" to curate values-aligned, safe online spaces for queer, Black Indigenous People Of Color (BIPOC) community members

    • Implemented care plan for company’s Creative Director

TEACHING ARTIST

  • Utilized restorative healing practices to create engaging arts-based curriculum programming for youth diversion
    programs aiming to redirect young people out of the criminal justice system

  • Facilitated programming sessions for girls, femme-identified and transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC)
    youth (ages 14-24) virtually and in person utilizing art and creative expression tools to teach social justice, leadership development and self-healing practices

  • Offered online facilitation for nonprofit organizations and community partners.

  • Provided material creation and lead activities for various workshops, cultural events and virtual training.  Key projects included:

    • Provided a virtual presentation of skills, experiences, stories and resources centered on trauma informed tactics to an online group of teaching artists (Community Word Project

    • Led event opening activities, sharing meditation and mindfulness practices, mini journaling exercise and a collective call and response Black affirmation chant for Black queer audience (TransInclusive Group)

    • Led grounding activity to open the event space, affirm attendees and set the tone of the program for Black LGBTQ+ community members (Black LGBTQ Collective Healing Brunch)

GENDER JUSTICE RESEARCH FELLOW

  • Collected, compiled, and analyzed qualitative data (including conducting interviews, transcribing files, and
    presenting findings to organizational staff)

  • Introduced Restorative Justice circle keeping practices into program and led program’s first youth circles

  • Supervised youth during Summer Academy activities, including classroom and off-campus field trips, meal, dorm,
    and leisure times
